Will the Casadei edging machine fit in my workshop?
Yes. The ‘Think Compact’ philosophy underpins the design. The dimensions are optimised to make the most of the space available in craft workshops: machines such as the E550 or the E350 take up minimal space – a working/service footprint of 3.2 m for the E550 and 2.2 m for the E350 – allowing industrial-scale machining in just a few square metres without compromising on ergonomics. The E321 takes up just 2 m – save space!
What are the delivery times?
Most of our orders are processed within two weeks. Thanks to lean manufacturing and an optimised parts warehouse, delivery times are tailored to meet the urgent needs of craftspeople, ensuring reliable investment planning.

Can I carry out all the machining operations in such a compact space?
Yes. Despite their compact size, Casadei models feature fully equipped workstations. The machine can be configured with pre-milling operations to remove cutting imperfections and a rounding unit for the complete finishing of the panel edges.
Can the machine use PUR (polyurethane) adhesive?
Certainly. Casadei machines are equipped with a hybrid gluing system that allows the use of PUR adhesive for water- and heat-resistant edging, ideal for bathroom and kitchen furniture.
Do I need two trays to change the colour or type of glue?
No. Our Teflon-coated tank and quick-clean system allow for a colour change or a switch from EVA to PUR in a very short time, eliminating the need for expensive and bulky dual tanks.
Is maintaining and cleaning the glue tank a complicated process?
Absolutely not! All our mixing bowls are coated with Teflon (registered trademark) or a non-stick material, making them easy to maintain and clean.
Is the machine equipped with panel finishing systems?
Yes, it is possible to integrate units for finishing the edge banding and for spraying anti-adhesive and cleaning agents, ensuring that the panel leaves the machine ready for packaging, with no glue residue.
How often should I clean the car?
When the machine prompts you… the touchscreen displays icons reminding you to clean and lubricate it (thereby helping you to carry out timely and precise maintenance, which allows you to ‘preserve’ your expenditure, investment and performance over the years).
How much fuel does the edgebander use?
Energy efficiency is a key feature. Consumption figures can be summarised as follows: Air intake: max. cubic metres per hour (1200 m³/h) and velocity (20 m/s) at the inlets Max. power consumption: 5.5 kWh (with the option of single-phase or three-phase operation on the same unit – this is an advantage for the dealer) Maximum compressed air consumption: 1.100 Nl/min (maximum operating peak)
